Designed to cover an exposed HDD that I removed from my laptop to use as an external drive. Should be pretty standard across different HDDs, but mine in particular is a Hitachi 5k750-640. The cover allows cable access to the HDD, but if you have some sort of stand or non-conventional cable that connects to the hard drive then you may want to modify the model to make it fit. The cover is in two pieces - there are holes on the side of each piece which are for screws to fit into and hold each part onto the HDD. The "assembled" stl file is for viewing how this is supposed to work, whereas the "left" and "right" stl files are the ones you want to print. I HAVE NOT PRINTED THIS ITEM YET.
