hi i have a shapeoko2 12"x12" runing grbl 0.8 nema 17, quiet cut spindle. bit single flut up cut 1/8 i made this case using google sketchup, and sketchucam plugin to generate tool path, its vary ez to use. iv been looking for a good cam program and i highly suggest if you are trying to make stuff on you shapeoko or x carve its all 100% free software and you don't have to mess around with svg files, which are great for vinyl cutting or engraving but i find not so good for making quick precise parts, i use ink scape and makercam for engraving images iv been playing with my shapeoko for just under a year the hardest thing compared to 3d printing is trying to make and under stand gcode if you machine is set up the same i have put in my gcode files set to 00 and top of you 1/4inch ply and press cut should work good for you 1/8 bit 1/4 ply wood bit pocket 50% bottom of bit pocket 75% so you can rock bits out of case ez top two pockets i put at 75%cut depth so i could hold larger bits
