Accessory for the extruder I designed. Mount to the lower M3 holes (10mm spacing). Put a foam piece on the inside to clean dust off your filament before it enters the bowden tube, or add canola oil to the foam to slowly lubricate and continuously season an all metal hotend for use with PLA. The long latch gives the plastic enough flexibility to open and close without breaking. Slots at the top allow for oil addition. Print in place hinge allows the container to pivot for alignment but also be moved out of the way if switching to ABS.I printed mine is ABS as it is less brittle / more plastic. Hopefully it will work in PLA as well but I haven't tried it. Make sure you don't over extrude or the hinge will fuse. If this is a problem then turn down your flow rate a percent or two. Also make sure you have adequate cooling if printing fast in PLA. No need for any support. 0.2mm layers are fine, I don't see any benefit to going lower for this item.
