A venturi that I designed as a replacement for the 3DPONICS 2 air intake Conduit. This venturi works better from my tests for water flow and uses only one air intake which leaves you with an extra air outlet from the pump to run another column or an airstone etc. I did measurements on both this venturi and the conduit and I am able to draw about 10% to 20% more water up an 8 ft column with this unit. Not saying either design is flawed but both can be improved upon. I want to thicken the wall thickness so I can add more infil to get rid of porous areas and lengthen my design with a bigger diameter hole to let more water in. Coating the outside of both units with hot wax or shrink wrap would create a great seal so air can not escape. Try it out and let me know what you think! Print these with the intake and outlet pointing up and I used a raft, .2mm layer and 20% infill. Your mileage may vary. Venturi2 file has a taper on the intake and outlet to facilitate easier tubing fit.
