This makes a low vacuum extractor at the side of a solidoodle 2 case to get rid of the ABS fumes. It adapts to an 80mm fan. I assume it can be used for other tasks.Print this on your favorite 3d printer. Attach it to an 80mm fan with 4 (or two? or three?) 4-40x1/2" screws. Hang it on the lower back right corner of the solidoodle case by inserting a wood screw into the hole in the adapter (so the screw head pinches the edge of the frame) and running a bead of hot glue along the back corner of the solidoodle case to give the lip of the adapter something to catch on. Also print the "tube adapter for 80mm fan" to send the air from the fan into a shop vac hose. This has been designed to work when the solidoodle frame is mostly enclosed, i.e. by some clear plastic curtains or similar. A rather weak fan is best, because you don't want to over-cool the printer with too much air flow.
