U have problems with ABS-prints and don´t have (or want) a heated bed? Try this: Use a 4mm PVC-foam Pad on top of your build-platform and cover it with kapton tape: Due the good insulation of the PVC beneath the kapton tape, combined with a 230°C first-layer- temperature, ABS sticks pretty good on the platform, even without a heated bed! Explanation: That is, because the heat of the filament in the first layer is enough to warm the kapton-tape for a good adhesion. without the insulation, the glass build-plate absorbs too much of the temperature, cooling the first layer down too fast for a good contact. This are 4 platform clamps for mounting such an additional Pad on the ZIM glass-platform (Not only suitable for ZIM!). The clamps will work from 7mm to 9.5mm, due I used a 4mm PVC Pad on top of the 5mm glass, which is covered with a kapton tape on one side.
