This alien won't ask you to take it to your leader, it can get there by itself.I scaled up gpvillamil's standing alien by 4x and modified the leg area. Then took tbuser's walker negative, made some changes, and combined them.Printed on a Prusa with one extra shell, 5% infill, speed at 30mm/sec took about 90 min. You'll want to keep the infill low so the weight doesn't get to be too much for the walker mechanism.You may need support, depending on how your printer is tuned, for the top of the cavity and the slot for the turn key.The walker mechanism is available from the MakerBot store: http://store.makerbot.com/makerbot-windup-walkers.htmlOnce I get my printer tuned for ABS I want to print it in glow in the dark.
