
This is a baseplate for building with Bitbeam. The width of this 20x20 Bitbeam plate is 160 mm by 160 mm. Holes are 5.0 mm in diameter. The center of each hole is 8 mm apart from each other. Bitbeam is an open source Lego Technic-compatible building toy. More info at http://bitbeam.orgTo use this thing, you can either "Print now!", or "Configure, then print.":Option 1 (aka "Print now!"): 1) Download the attached STL file. 2) Using a slicing program to convert the STL into a G-code file for your printer. 3) Print!Option 2 (aka "Configure, then Print"): 1) Download the attached OpenSCAD file. 2) Modify the file to make a bigger or smaller baseplate. 3) Compile, render, then export as STL. 4) Go to Option 1.Please print one and post a photo!Warning: The STL file is very large. (7.8MB) Your slicing program may have problems converting to G-code if your computer doesn't have enough memory to process the file. If you don't have any problems slicing this STL, please add a comment with your OS, OS Version, amount of RAM, slicing program and version. (e.g. OS X 10.7.5, 4GB RAM, Slic3r 0.9.8.)
