This complicates the easy and fast attatchment of different input devices (pet band drive / piston)This is an interchangable flange adapter. The rectangular side (warm side) should touch the fiberglass-PCB isolation plates which lead to the heating chamber. On the Flat side (cold side) any conceivable input device can be mounted.Avoid PLA. If you have no heated build plattform you may print the first vew layers in PLA to get the ABS to stick.On my first attempt 240°C Was too cold for my white ABS to stick to itself. I had to lower the print-speed to crawling 28mm/s to avoid immediate failure. (40% hexagonal fill) At the end it ripped open along the circumference a little above the PLA ABS Interface. :(
