Chitauri Scepter Crystal Upgrade This is an upgrade to the Chitauri Scepter to use a PLA printed gem to better emulate the effect show in the movie. Notice: This thing is currently a work-in-progress.Print the gem in translucent PLA (I used blue). Print the other parts with black (PLA or ABS, doesn't matter), these should be painted otherwise. The parts here will replace the gem, the gem cup (or codpiece as the file is named), and the gem brackets. Print one of each .STL. Specifics on electronics coming soon. This first version used 6 LEDs wired to a 9v battery. I'm currently working on a new design that will allow the LEDs to pulse and cycle between white and blue to make the crystal seem more alive.
