latest post: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930818 Launched this homebrewed k-cup coffee composting tool the beginning of February (rev40) after about a year of prototyping and getting feedback from friends, family and offices that are using this device in Vermont! **Added Rev 41 which eliminates 2 small undercut errors in the base of the design. All you need to use it is a wide mouth mason jar of your choice and just fasten it on the jar where the lid would normally go. After your coffee is done brewing,(and the spent k-cup is cooled down), take the k-cup out and pop it down on the pointed top, give it a half twist one way, then the other, tap a couple times, and the coffee will fall out into the jar and the metal foil will stay on the cup and not in the coffee grounds that can now go in the compost or in the garden! Think of the billions of tons of coffee that could be helping plants grow in the garden! As you can see from the gallery pictures, there's a lot of science in this crazy shape, print with supports on 100% fill and preferably .2mm at 60mm/60mm with 80C heated bed covered in 1 layer of blue tape will take about 1h 40m but won't break unlike time tested quicker print settings. Use a small fan for improved print surface finish. Good luck
