I have standardised on 501 quick release plates for all my video and photography equipment. Only problem, I have more camera's than plates, so here is a compact, light-weight printable quick release plate that is compatible with 500 and 700 series tripod heads. You can search for and purchase a compatible 1/4 d-ring screw on ebay from multiple vendors. The hole in the mount is threaded so the screw will remain in place when the mount is removed from you camera.Given that the hole is threaded, I recommend printing with a 150 micron layer height, 3 shells and 30% infill.
