Counting can be really fun with these easy-to-print body parts. They are a big hit at a special needs school in Slovenia where we are using them since this spring. The children like them much more than blank beans or beads and learn about their body and numbers at the same time. As you can see in the pictures we ask kids to put the correct number of objects on the dots next to each number. We find using physical objects helps associate numbers to their symbols. A pair of feet, ears and a head are included, all sized appropriately for little hands to grab. We usually try to combine different topics in one lesson when teaching these children, as in this case the human body and counting. Ears are half-size from the original, the head of doctor Oh is shrunk to 30%, both otherwise unchanged from the referenced sources. The foot was leveled and mirrored to make the pair. Not sure where it comes from, we tried searching for it but nothing came up. Use support to get better quality prints - only a very small amount is necessary at the bottom of feet and chin. We hope you like them and will make more similar ones! Nina (teacher) & Luka (printer)
