Transform your Lego minifig into an anime character with this CRAZY hair! Well, sort of anyways. It definitely looks ... crazy. YAAAA! :P This is derived from the head piece in Skimbal's Blank Minifig set! Extra Info The raw Autodesk Inventor file is attached. If you are interested in it, you will see that the design uses projected geometry from the original mesh/solid. A 1mm perimeter is added on, just as wiggle room for the actual print designs. Hopefully it won't be too much, but we'll see how it goes. Go ahead and make your own hairstyles with it if you want :D (just remember to attribute the original maker Skimbal, and me RobotGrrl). If you are going to edit it: when you export the .stl from Inventor, you'll need to scale it down by 0.254 (you can do this in ReplicatorG, for example). Haven't printed this yet, though extremely eager to, so if you do print it out then let me know how it goes! The original head is from Skimbal. Imported this into Autodesk Inventor, recreated the solid from it, and started creating the design around a 1mm perimeter from the revolved head outline. To print this, you will need supports. The print speed might have to be slower as well, because of the small-ish artifacts. Also, it might be useful to have Orbit set up for the layers with the tiny areas of hair at the end.
