A black ABS plastic die made on a makerbot. On Autodesk Inventor I created a 2x2 inch square. Then I extruded the square 2 inches. This formed a cube. I then made 1/2 inch cirles on each face. The number of circles corresponded to the number value of the side. The circles were then embosed 1/10 of an inch into the cube. Then I made 1/4 inch concentric circles inside of the 1/2 inch circles. These would be embosed 1/20 of an inch. These would be used to put glue on the inside to hold the acrylic dots. The acrylic used was 3mm green acrylic. 0.48 inch circles were made in inventor and cut into the green acrylic on a CNC laser cutter. Then acrylic glue was used to attach the acrylic to the cube.
