A stand for USB Microscope to provide accurate fine focal adjustments . There many brand names attached this scope, I got mine from Maplin in the UK. I have seen many other versions with the exact same design.. The stand that comes with the microscope is serviceable but is frustrating when trying to focus on really tiny things. So I designed this version. I thought it would useful if you could point the microscope at a wall so I designed it so you can change the angle of sight.A new scope holder has been added it is a corrected stl. thank you to Planet_Earth for pointing out the error. The project was printed in PLA with these settings in slic3er layer height 2.5mm extrusion width 0.56mm first layer 130% no support needed The Upright and Base were printed with 25% honeycomb infill, all the other components were printed the 80% rectilinear infill Vitamins 2 X stainless steel rods (piano Wire) 4mm diameter at 110mm long 1 X 5M threaded rod at 143mm long 2 X 5M 30mm bolts and wingnuts 1 X 5M end cap nut 3 X 5M nuts 4 X 6M 30mm bolts and nuts You need to print 2 of the spine and top/bottom guides. There is a slot at the back the holder for a 5M nut. The adjustment knob has a spindle for rapid turning. i used a 30mm nail with the point cut off and fixed in position with 2 part epoxy glue. I left the knob to fully set for 24 hours before trying to use and its pretty solid. Make sure the sliding holes on the holder are clean and the rods freely slide through, just drill through if not.
