conversion of the MK8 extruder into a dual bowden extruder. Turned upside down and adapted for 1/8 BSP push-fit connectors. Still need to design the head end, probably from aluminium. Changed design slightly after 1st print needed beefing up a bit. snapped the push-fit clamp fitting nut. Second version seems much stronger, the push-fits seem in there pretty tight. Mount uploaded plus New Version of base to accommodate changes for nuts to hold parts together instead of threading abs holes. I now have the new setup working, and working well, much less shaking of the case, it even sounds less strained when making fast moves. Just need to tidy up my cables Added V3 of mount, now has cable management runs through the back. Link to it in action on the tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFWJ6pfuvgcconverted from a single MK8. The push-fit locking screws are M3x16. Head end is threaded for 1/8 BSP seems to be tight and strong enough fitted with a 0.5mm thick washer to keep them stood off the extruder mounting block and as cool as possible. Reverse fit the heatsinks and fans using printed shrouds, and used 30mm M3 bolts instead of the longer original ones to hold it all together.
