Concerned about someone eating eggs you have decorated using non-food safe inks? If so, then these designs may be the ticket! All these designs have a tessellation of skulls. They then incorporate either some short warning text, or a longer text which wraps in a spiral around the egg:NOTE BENE: I do not mean to poke fun at anyone concerned about the use of non food safe inks. Not only is it a legitimate concern, I happen to share it as well. I made these designs as I wanted to leave a few of these in the fridge for my wife to come across.Note also that the kind folks at Evil Mad Science have a nice write up of some food safe pens they have tested with the Eggbot. You can read their write up athttp://www.evilmadscientist.com/article.php/edibleinkThese drawings are 800 x 3200 plots intended for drawing on an Eggbot. Each plot has three layers1. Draw this layer with or without a pen in order to help you frame the drawing on your egg. This layer just has two small, horizontal lines at x=0 and x=800. 2. This layer contains the skull tiling. 3. This layer contains the warning text.warning.svg & warning-flipped.svg: the short text warning. The "flipped" version is intended for drawing with the egg's bottom to the egg motor cup. You can get the same effect by reversing both motors on the "Options" tab of the Eggbot Control extension.warning-spiral.svg & warning-spiral-flipped.svg: The long, spiral text warning. Be sure to enable x axis wrapping in the Eggbot Control extension's "Options" panel.warning-spiral-fine.svg & warning-spiral-fine-flipped.svg: The long spiral warning text but with some bold text at the start ("Warning:") and italicized text at the end ("your own risk!"). Since the start and end of the spiral text is drawn near the egg's poles, the text there is drawn a bit small relative to text near the egg's equator. You will need to use a very fine tipped pen in order for the bold and italicized text to appear nicely. A 0.05 mm Copic Multiliner SP, for instance. The photo of the egg with spiral warning text is this variation.Note that when you draw layers 1 or 3, you will notice a pause of close to a minute: this is the Eggbot Control extension making its way through all the skulls looking for the desired layer or other matching layers.Note that the eye sockets and nose cavities are not hatched. They will not plot as filled regions on your eggs. If you wish to hatch them, then feel free to do so. The skull in the upper left corner of the drawing is the skull which is "cloned" everywhere else. So, that's the skull you want to change.
