This is a bracket to mount Ultibots' fan duct (or AeroMonkeyDork's derivative fan duct) to a laser cut Printrbot Plus extruder mount.Edit 3/22/2013: I printed and fitted the bracket and fan to my bot. There are 2 issues. First, the 40mm fan that I have doesn't move much air, only 4.1cfm. This does not provide enough cooling. Second, the bracket arm is too long and the duct ends up at a funny angle too high above the extruder nozzle. Solutions are to install a fan that moves more air, and to shorten the arm or provide another joint in the arm.Print the bracket and articulated arm parts. Print Ultibots' fan duct. You will need a 40mm fan with leads long enough to connect to your Printrboard. You will also need (2) longer screws to attach the bracket to the extruder and (4) nuts and bolts for the bracket arm joints. The fan duct is a bit of a snug fit between the uprights of the laser cut extruder mount. Just give it a squeeze, and it should fit between the uprights, around the hot end. Ideally, there would be a positive attachment to support the free end of the duct, but I think this will work for now. I've tested the first iteration and the dimensions need some adjustment. The Printrbot+ bed leveler and the binder clips I am using to clip down my glass print bed are preventing me from getting the fan closer to the hot end nozzle. I think a better fan would take care of this issue.
