This will let you use the Google Cardboard app with a Dive headset. Tested with the Durovis Dive and the Color-Cross/NEJE Headsets In my opinion the Color-Cross is much, much better than the Durovis provided you don’t have a very big nose. It should work with other OpenDive type headsets. I only tested it with the LG-G3, some phones do not have sufficiently sensitive magnetometers to work with the Cardboard app. Unlike the paper Cardboard hardware with this you can fine tune the magnet placement.Uses the same magnets needed for Cardboard as specified by Google: One neodymium ring magnet, and one ceramic disk magnet. Approximate size: 0.75in (19mm) diameter and 0.12in (3mm) thickness. Put a dab of superglue on the ceramic magnet and place it in the hole in the bottom half. Then superglue the top half on. Once it is fully dry (the magnets are quite strong, so wait a bit) put the neodymium ring magnet in the slot. I used a thin strip of black, Adhesive Putty to stick it to the side of the headset so it can be removed but Blu-Tack would probably be strong enough also.
