This mount is a platform for attaching electronic devices to motorcycle handlebars. This was designed for a Yamaha XJ650, but may work for other bikes. The D123 CAD files are included so modifications can be made. Others materials used: 6-32 threaded rod (2 each) 6-32 nuts (4 each) This is printed in PLA, 6 vertical shells, 6 horizontal shells top and bottom for extra strength. Print two sets of handlebar brackets and one plate. The knob is printed large end down with no support. Pause the print at layer 24 and place a 6-32 nut in the hex shaped hole. Continue printing the remainder of the knob. Print two knobs. Cut threaded rod to size. (Tip: thread a nut on the rod before cutting. Touch up cut end with a file. Unthread the nut to straighten the treads.) Fix a nut to one end of the rod. (Glue or flatten the treads and back the nut onto it). Glue the long brackets in the slots on the platform. Attach the smaller brackets to the long brackets with the threaded rod and knobs. Place bracket over handlebars and tighten clamps until brackets are snug to handlebars. I used velcro to attached my GPS device to the platform.
