This is a derivative of emmett's wonderful heart gears. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6291 Same gears, but all of the gears are on one square plate, and can be scaled to print on a cupcake all at once! How small can it go? lets find out! The file contains original sized gears. If you have access to a printer with a large build platform this could be handy. Before printing, if scaled to 0.75 it will just barely fit on a cupcake bed. Make sure your platform is very centered (as you can see from the photos, watch your raft size!). the gears themselves are parametric, but for this method you will likely have to drill the holes to-size for whatever teeny screws you have around. I normally do not print with a raft, but was having trouble getting the bottom right mini gear to stick. YMMVThis plate printed in 1hr on my cupcake. 1hr20m w/raft. @0.2 infill. The large heart is 6+ hours, as well as 9 start/stops. The pictures show my trial run, with a slightly less than optimal arrangement. I have included a second, better, arrangement. but have not printed them yet. I made a point to take advantage of sneaking things off ledges, and under overhangs etc. so they can be scaled as large as possible, but still fit the platform.
