Reconstruction of cervical vertebrae from a human CT scan using inVesalius, Meshlab, and Blender. Based on DICOM files from the Visible Human Project (openly available): https://mri.radiology.uiowa.edu/visible_human_datasets.html Printed without problem both ~1/8 scale and full size with a Replicator 2X using ABS, raft, and supports. You'll need to scale it up for printing, but otherwise prints fairly cleanly.
