The Algot wardrobe frame system has nice brackets to screw to the wall. They even supply extra spacer blocks that are reversable to fit different wall or skirting...but... I have 230 year old walls that do anything but go straight up. These spacers fit into the Ikea spacers to make up the gaps (5, 7 and 10mm). I also have sloping floors - so I needed to make small feet extensions as the supplied adjustable feet just don't have the length for my lowest point.
