Fun little project to neatly hold a dozen K-cups. Guaranteed to bring smiles to the faces of your family and friends. I'm not sure why, but a frog seemed like the perfect topper for this K-cup tree. Credit for the excellent frog goes to SSW http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:189563. I printed the parts in ABS. I had to use hair spray on the platen to keep the parts from lifting at the edges. Of course, then they were a challenge to remove, but patience and care prevailed. Enjoy! <Update 5-8-14> Added a version of the topper without the frog so you can customize your own top!Material: ABS (MakerBot Rep 2X) Settings: MakerBot 2X default... Shells: 2 Infill: 5-10% Prep: Acetone clean platen, hairspray (Tresemme25 from WalMart did the trick) My kapton is old so I needed the hairspray to prevent lifting of the large radius parts. Supports: nope Other: I paused printing just at start of top layer of the rings to wipe the grunge off of the extruder that way I did not end up with ugly black blobs embedded in the surface. Also, the bottom of the stopper splays out a bit from the hot platen so you will need to lightly sand the around the bottom edge to get the stopper to fit into the stand.
