My kid out grew the par-cord belt I made him so I wanted to make something where I can just add links to the belt as he gets bigger. The links are about 1" tall and about 1" wide, which fit into a kid size belt loop on his pants I'm not sure if this is standard, but it seems to be on his pants we have for him. I don't have a 3D printer so I haven't tested a fully assembled piece yet. If someone prints one out before I am able, I am open for adjustments to measurements.I don't own a 3D printer so I don't know how tolerances work so I went off what I know how metal works. I create the cross and mate pieces to have a hole in them so it will be easier lining up a hole to the buckle. The pin for the buckle is a press fit. The pic can be pushed from the back part of the buckle. The star is added to keep the pic in place as well as for looks. Between the pins and cross belt piece is a press fit ( hole and pic same size), with the mating piece and pin there is a 1/32" gap to allow it to move freely. I measure for my kid's waist which is about 18". I don't have a calculation on items for different waist, you have to print as much as you want/need. for kid waist at 18" the count of pieces are as followed: endcap (2), mate(51), Cross(50), peg(102), buckle(1), Buckle_peg(1)
