This is a project I've started in order to create an arduino-based LED sweeping digital light for a 4-foot decorative lighthouse that I have. The LED housing and the case for the electronics will be 3D printed. This is still a work in progress, but some preliminary video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfydR_MFtuU A preliminary Instructable with build instructions and arduino code is at http://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Lighthouse-Light-Preliminary-Work/. The 3D files were created in TinkerCAD. The 12V LED light array is from a cut up RadioShack weatherproof LED strip tha I got on clearance (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=22128516). The electronics are controlled by an arduino micro.A preliminary Instructable with build instructions and arduino code is at http://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Lighthouse-Light-Preliminary-Work/. I am continuing to work on other aspects of the product.
