Make RGBW LED strip driver from a bulb electronic board. Because LIFX still not provide that! Please if you have never use a soldering station, maybe it's not a good idea to try to do this thing! To open the bulb you can find how to on internet. Get out the board and cut the cable near the bulb, because we use it to connect the LIFX board on the prototype board. In fact we use only GND, 4V, R, G, B, W so you can remove not used wires from the connector. On the pictures this is my prototype, I've used a DECT station connector for the power supply. But I have shared boxes for rounded power supply connector, you can choose the 140mm box for board 100mm/50mm(like on pictures) or the smaller 115mm for 75mm/50mm board. If you use a 12V power supply maybe it's better to add a sink to the LM317 (min 400mA), I'm using a 7.5V/450mA power supply. For the LED amplifier I bought it on Alibabaexpress. with this module we have to provide a 0V to drive optocoupler to VCC so we don't need to add pullup after the ULN2003, that why they are marked optional. Please note you have to provide 12V for RGBW strip, for those I bought, they need 12W/m so 60W for 5m Please ask if you need more information. http://youtu.be/BRIm3nd8kqc
