I needed a 120mm CPU fan grill - so I made one up on my laser cutter.I specifically made this for one of my Electronic Cloud Chambers I displayed at Maker Faire NYC:http://nothinglabs.blogspot.com/2011/09/electronic-cloud-chamber-at-maker-faire.htmlI cut this on my Full Spectrum 40 Watt hobby laser cutter out of 1/8" MDF.Just about any material you can easily laser cut should work (acrylic or thin plywood come to mind). Thickness isn't that critical.I used 100% power / 25% speed for light-blue lines.Black text was engraved at 100% power / 100% speed.Your settings of course may vary.The SVG file was created in Inkscape.
