Another step in the process of learning how to create 3D objects! This one's maybe more practical than most, though perhaps only for me. Temperatures are hitting 95 today here in Vermont and it's the first chance I've had in weeks to mow the lawn. Even on a riding mower, you can dry out quickly out there. Stay hydrated! It's hard to work a riding mower with a cup in one hand. Some riding mowers have a cupholder, but not mine. No problem. This will slip over the top of the lever that controls the deck height, and provide a ring into which my L. L. Bean travel cup should fit perfectly. It'll even hold it approximately level, though I didn't try to make that perfect -- the angle of the lever depends on the deck height after all, and my cup's got a lid. I'm guessing the sizes and shapes wouldn't work for anyone else, but just in case, there's a Google SketchUp 8 file in here for easy remixing. This will have to print with supports, of course.
