For an "indoor apartment Mini-Golf Tournament" we are having, I built some Mini-Golf-Putters! In combination with this golf ball: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6025 and some homemade obstacles it should be LOADS of fun!!! As winter is slowly approaching.... (in middle Europe at least ;-) ) I thought I'd share it with you, in case you get snowed in and bored! Print one MINIgolf_PUTTER.stl (I used the 0.3 layer resolution, 3 shells and 20% infill on a Makerbot Replicator 2) and it seems solid enough! Took exactly 1h to print. Additionally you would need some wood or metal-rods. I used a 300mm long and 20mm in diameter round wood-rod as a handle (with a 10mm diameter hole drilled into one side and added a 650mm long and 10mm in diameter one with some wood glue. To fix the 3D-printed part in place also add some glue or screw it from the outside! I wrapped the handle with some black duct-tape (just for comfort) The endresult should be an ~93cm long Standard Mini-Golf-Stick... Have fun playing!!! The 3D-printed putter holds a diameter of 10mm, but I added a blender file, in case you want to adjust it. In case there a standard imperial diameters you want to use, let me know and I can also upload an imperial file!
