I needed a magnetic mount for my Garmin Nuvi 850 GPS. So I modified someone elses mount to have a ball joint that would fit my GPS mount.Print the base and the ball and superglue them together. I had to scale the ball to get a tight fit. I recommend making sure the ball is the right size before gluing it to the base. Also find a rare earth magnet to glue into the recess on the bottom. I used one out of an old hard drive.
