A replacement handle for a cheap Marksman brand slingshot to allow a fishing reel to be attached to the bottom using hose clamps. I geocache, and sometimes I need to retrieve a container from up high, and this works perfectly to string some paracord over an unused bridge support. I got this idea years ago from a friend that was into ham radio and used a similar setup to string antennas. I've also seen similar setups to quickly pull string and wire across suspended ceilings. Who knows what you sheisters may come up with! Just don't try to fish with it; a weight propelled by a slingshot with a hook attached sounds like a great way to loose an ear/eye/rip open your jugular vein... you get the picture. I'd like to know what you want to use such a device for!The old handle easily slides out of the slingshot from the top it you spread the yolk just a bit. Print this out, slip it in, the same way the old one came out. Attach your fishing reel with some metal worm drive hose clamps. I used two that could go up to a 2" diameter, and I just cut off the extra band material. You should be able to get use clamps that go up to 1 1/4", the diameter of the mount is is one inch plus a flat spot for the reel mount. I printed on a stock Printrbot Metal this with the cheapest PLA eBay has to offer with neither brim nor raft; it should be an easy print. I used .2mm layer thickness, 15% infill, .8 thick walls (two layers for my print nozzle. I have it designed so that the frame of the slingshot bears most of the force while shooting and the handle does very little little structurally and merely provides a comfortable grip. No supports should be needed, there's just a small overhang where the bottom of the yolk fits, and my printer bridged this without any drooping at all.
