Turn a microswitch into an on / off switch.I have many salvaged micro-switches, but small, on/off switches can be hard to find. This thing transforms a bare-bones microswitch into a little on/off switch. This project used smaller ones, roughly 10.2mm thick, 15.85mm tall and around 29mm long. These 15 amp switches probably came from a microwave oven. The principle should apply to any size. 0.2mm layers and slow speed, for precision. One set required 4 grams ABS, 20 minutes. Clean out any support and stick the lever up into its slot. The lever shouldn't fit too tight. Sand paper its sides for a semi-loose fit, if required.
Slide the switch into the box. You'll have to depress the button to install and remove it. The lever can be flipped around, so "up" is either ON or OFF.
