Find me now at http://goo.gl/qfeRmZ This is scale model of the Minecraft Creeper, made of a few parts for easy and reliable printing. Under the covers it's a relatively minor rework of the creeper found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8346 Changes are: The Steve in the photo is thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29570 Design removed and replaced with the flat disk you see, feel free to email for the original if you want it. See following link for details http://traverseda.wordpress.com/2014/05/23/makerbot-blatently-steals-and-patents-a-community-design/ For alternatives to thingiverse see http://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/26do2z/alternative_repositories_to_thingiverse/Ultimately you need a head, a body and 4 legs.If you're happy with your ability to print short, unsupported, spans then I'd suggest printing the body + legs as a single piece and the head as the second piece. Once printed just glue the head on at an appropriately jaunty angle. This works fine on my Ultimaker. If not then you have to print the body + 4 legs (make sure you get 2 front and 2 back, because the connectors are different). You've two choices, you can download the single leg STL files, and print them twice, or the "legs" files which contains 2 front legs and 2 back legs. I prefer to print them separately as they come out cleaner. Once all the parts are printed you have to join them. I used very short pieces of stiff wire + glue.If you're an openscad user you can download the scad file and play with producing the head, body, legs, or body+legs files in whichever forms you prefer.
