My watch straps keep breaking before the electronics do, so I made this to extend their useful lifetimes. Each segment of the watch requires 2 "Watch Band" STLs and one "Watch Clip STL". The band parts are bound by the clip, and fit very tightly, so they may have to be eased on carefully (though with some force) with some needle-nose pliers. Each band segment adds about 2.5 to 3 cm to the circumference of the watch, and since they are modular, you can adjust the amount of segments to fit your arm. Segments can even be printed slightly smaller or larger for fine-tuning, or to have segments that start large and gradually get smaller, etc. The watch electronics also fit snugly into the watch head, but shouldn't require pliers. They are from Timex's "Ironman" watch series (all of which use the same electronics? Not sure about that.) and can be removed from their original watches by unscrewing the back panels. This is a prototype: I'm done with it for now, so let's see what the maker community can do with it. If I get around to making changes, the issues I'd resolve are as follows:the electronics are exposed to the elements, it could have a better fastener, the buttons can't easily be reached, and it's a bit bulky.
