I recently posted a similar strip in a stand. I wondered if could be printed without a stand and I've printed one without any significant problem. IMPORTANT NOTE: I printed this at 2x design size. I've posted 1 stl file with stabilising posts which are readily removeable after printing. Printed in DiamondAge PLA on an Ultimaker 1. Some of the photos show the item on the print plate (removed from the printer) before any finishing. I used 210C, 0.2mm layer height, 1.2mm shell and 20% infill. No brim, raft or support. Most of the print was at a print speed of 50mm/s but I slowed this down substantially for the top third of the print. As already noted I recommend printing this at 2x design size. Naturally the underside of the centre of the bottom section and the apex are not of a high standard, but I think acceptable after some post printing clean up. These regions might be improved by using support - I haven't tried.
