Designed a desktop stand for my new Moto X 2nd gen. And now you can print one too! Prints in 2 parts + right angle USB cable. Print both TOP and BOTTOM pieces at a decent resolution. Line the insides of the TOP piece with thin (.063" / 1.5mm) foam. I use "Silly Winks / Funky Foam" adhesive-back foam, available at most craft stores. This ensures the foam, not the plastic, touches your phone. Phone will fit without it but won't be as snug. Obtain a right-angle micro USB cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AR4NC8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ...and wedge it into the base. Snake the cable through the channel and out the back. Place the TOP on the BOTTOM - using the posts to align it - and insert your phone to make sure the USB fits correctly. Once it does, take the TOP off and put a bit of glue around the USB plug to secure it in place. Finally, super-glue the TOP to the BOTTOM and enjoy!
