Cut up and ready to print.I've been focusing all my prints on relatively small scale, and as a result, assembly will require some sanding/filing to get all the pieces to fit together properly. The smaller the model, the more work to assemble. Preparing the pylons to intersect the secondary hull can result in a lot of sanding. The more time you take on this, the better your results will be. Also try to make your slicer of choice output as thin of bottom as possible. Enterprise-A" found at http://www.trekmeshes.ch/ (direct linking not allowed) If you're interested in modeling scales, this is the sizing for three common scales: 1:3125 = 0.428 (this is the scale of the Starline 2500 gaming miniatures) 1:2500 = 0.535 (a small common trek modeling scale) 1:1600 = 0.836 (another common modeling scale) I wouldn't recommend trying anything lower than 1:3125. UPDATE: The Saucer from Eric Peterson's model is better, and I was finally able to generate a printable STL, so I've included that as the "_ALT" saucer. The combined model stl is Peterson's.
