This object, once lined with surgical tubing, is the perfect size to fit a LEGO Mindstorms NXT Brick, protecting it from any hard jolts or impacts during a match as well as securing it. The holes on the sides of the model keep the object from splitting and warping during the printing process. There is an Inventor Part File (.ipt) included for your own CAD modeling with this design.Line the bottom and edges with 3/8 inch surgical tubing for maximum shock-protection. You will need to mark and drill holes in the bottom of the mount to your liking. Printing: We printed ours on a Version 1 Replicator Dual, 50% infill (overkill - you can use less), 230 Extruder Temp and 110 HBP Temp. You may or may not choose to use a raft; we used one to reduce warping.
