I got tired of waiting for Google to release their dock for the Nexus 4 so I made my own in Blender. It doesn't have cool wireless charging, but you don't have to F5 the Play store page into oblivion to order one so that's a plus! There are two versions of the dock, one scaled for a naked N4 and one for an N4 with official bumper. I have a bumper (lucky me, I know), so I've only printed one for the bumper but the naked dock should work too. Oh, and I have to give credit to Charles Perez on GrabCad for making a beautiful model of the Nexus 4 which I used for construction. http://grabcad.com/library/nexus-4The docks are pretty large since they're spherical so I don't think they'll print on a Thingomatic, but I haven't checked. The "naked" dock might since it's a little smaller. Anyways, print at whatever layer height you want; I printed at .15mm on a Rep1 with Sailfish on board and it looks pretty good.I'm not sure if the USB cable I used was the one that came with my Nexus but it's a pretty compact one. You may or may not need to trim excess rubber off the head of your jack to squeeze it in the hole. Then, I suggest using some ABS melted in acetone, or maybe some Sugro, to fix the cable in place. You'll have the best luck if you apply this when the phone is already in the dock as it will insure that everything's in the right position. Finally, you might want to use some stick-on hobby weights on the inside of the dock cavity so that your dock will have a nice weight to it. Oh, and add an NFC sticker if you want your dock to be a little "smarter". I found that if you set the sticker to turn on "Car Dock" you can get Daydream mode to turn on when you dock. I use "NFC Task Launcher" in the market. "Desk Dock" mode wouldn't work for me FYI. That's it. Enjoy!
