Dock designed to cradle the nokia DT-900 qi inductive charger at an angle. I designed this specifically for my new Nexus 5 phone but it should work with most other cellphones. I originally created this because the nokia charger is cheaper than the Nexus Orb (if you know where to look ). I wanted the angle but wanted to solve the problem of phones sliding off. Has worked well on my desk the last few days, seems durable enough that it will last. Update: I have updated the parts to use slightly less plastic and be more home printer friendly with less overhangs. Additionally I added the base and outer shell as one part which should be easier to print on a home printer. If someone wants to try and show their results that would be appreciated :) I need to spend some time to get my home printer back up and running. Also Check out my horizontal dock version in the remix section. I plan to use it combined with a NFC tag at home on my night stand as an alarm clock.Print both pieces. I used a dimensions printer, I haven't tried it on my rep rap yet so I cant give any recommendations on settings. The walls are thin so I would print solid. (thinking about it now it might be easier to print this as one piece on a reprap. If needed I can provide these parts for someone) Glue the base to the bottom. (optional) stick some rubber feet on the base for a really solid grip Add a big bag of something heavy inside. Set the Charger in the grove. Enjoy.
