These files are for Seimitsu Buttons to allow them to use snap action microswitches instead of the standard PS-14-G microswitch. Now you can use Cherry, Zippy, or Omron switches with any Seimitsu PS-14-G or KN button for tactile feedback and a clicky button! *Note the later pictures show a screw and nut to hold the switch together. That is a prototype model and will not be needed for the actual assembly. Each side is appropriately named for its purpose. When assembling begin by mounting the microswitch on either of the sides tabs, then assemble the remaining side by fitting the tabs into the microswitches mounting holes. Make sure the microswitch plunger pin is facing up between the two walls of the assembly. before installing the assembly in the button, mount your button in whatever panel or arcade controller you choose to use. We will be mounting one your button is secured. Insert the plunger pin first into the button within the button plungers slot. Insert your switch assembly by pinching the top of the assembly near the two extrusions and make sure that the assembly is firmly seated on the plunger rim. One extrusion should mount above the rim, another below. Wire your button and enjoy!
