This is an advanced and very precise version of the Z Adjustment for Camiels Orca 0.4x printer. You can adjust your height with a micrometer screw, while the Z-opto is leaded by two linear bearings on two 8 mm smooth rods in its height. There are two springs which press against the micrometer screw and make sure that there is no play in your height. This will also prevent your micrometer screw from de-adjusting itself. Also i have added a version of the middle part with 8 mm inner diameter, in case you dont have linear bearings laying around. The diameter for the smooth rods and the micrometer screw are zero by zero in this stl files, but you can edit the IGES files by your needs. This project was inspired by Mooselakes Adjuster: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:58897This parts were printed in ABS with 25% infill and 0.25mm layer height. The build up should be self explaining, but feel free to ask your questions. If you need to drill your parts, drill them together to get a good alignment for your smooth rods. Also i would recommend to add washers between the springs and linear bearings as a protection. Parts you need: M4x12 screw x5 M4 nuts x7 M3x12 screw x2 M3 nuts x2 D 8mm / L 40mm springs x2 8 mm linear bearings x2 8mm smooth rods L 90mm x2 and of course, a micrometer screw. mine is 0-25mm, but you can also use a 0-13mm version.
