I wanted to create a simple support for the Y axis motor since the 1.5 mm plate was bending under belt tension. Works in combination with the stock plate. No interference with the V wheels as the part is the same width as the maker slide. Designed to work with my Y Support foot http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106163 As requested I have added a support designed for the automationtechnologies kit with their 47 mm high motor. I did not have the motor to physically dimension so please let me know if it doesn't work! Please comment below if you need additional sizesPrint (Printed with 3 perimeter passes, 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill) Remove Y motor and insert 2 M5 t nuts into bottom of maker slide. Re-attach motor with stock plate. Nest motor cables in recessed slot of the support and fasten to rail with m5 10mm bolt.
