
I was reading a guide on how to make paracord bracelets and noticed the guy had a loom made of wood to hold the cord tight while he did the weave. I thought it would make a neat 3D printing project for some nifty hobby synergy. Uses basic M3 hardware to make an adjustable loom. More info in instructions. Comments always welcome! Print 2 brackets and 2 sliders with whatever settings work best for you. I used 2 shells and 10% infill. Place M3 nuts in the slots on the underside of the slider. I used some blue tape laying around to hold them in better but you don't need it. Slide slider over bracket and thread an M3x30 screw through and hold it in with an M3 nut in the slot. Don't tighten too much yet. Place clip over holes and hold in place with 2 M3x20 screws (slightly shorter might work, maybe 15 being the min, longer than 20 might get wonky). Clip brackets onto a thin table or piece of wood, I used my sliding keyboard rack on my desk. Adjust sliders to length you want and tighten M3x30 screw to hold into place.
