I wanted a simple way to light my print bed and I had one of those common LED lights around. To keep it super simple I used zip ties to mount it rather than risking a claw thing that I knew would barely print and probably snap. It is designed to screw onto the right bracket on the X carriage and has two angled holes to string ties through. A smaller extruder mounted system would probably light better but I wanted something dirt simple and using only things I had lying around (my extruder is also gaining weight with multiple mods). Designed for my Printrbot+ LC, might work on similar models. Might work on a Simple version if I can get some measurements from someone. All comments/criticism welcomed! I designed this to be simple enough to have a high tolerance for bad settings/calibrations. I used basic settings with 2 shells, 30% infill medium speed. Any settings should work if you can print basic calibration squares. To install just unscrew the top two screws on the right side of the X carriage and screw this on. The pictures should make it clear enough. Once it is screwed in just zip tie a light on.
