This is a guard I designed to keep my baby from pulling his nightlight out of the electrical socket and hurting himself. We have the solar system one, but it will fit any of the similar night light models. This does currently clock the photodiode, but seeing as mine is LED, I'm not terribly worried. I will investigate tunneling light to the photodiode if there is any interest.I printed mine in PLA but ABS should work equally well. Consider your infill against the toddler's will to remove the light. Either fill or will will win. I printed mine at 100% to be safe. You may need a longer screw from a home supply store to secure it. I have provided the source FreeCAD file for easy modification.
