This design was made to try out if the printer can handle it without support material, and the result came out pretty nice. It also is an interestingly looking piece of art, if I can say that. At least watching all those smaller pyramids inside the big one is kind of cool. :) Fun fact: There are 540 standing pyramids and 210 upside-down pyramids in this mesh, which makes a sum of 750 pyramids. This can be printed out without support material. Remember to use higher speed (around 60) at bridges, so they won't bend down. If you use support, only use it when you have multiple extruders, and soluable support material. Otherwise you won't be able to remove the support from inside the pyramid. You can scale it up if you want, it works with 1.5% of original size. For bigger scales I don't know, the bridges could be too large and they can bend. (Of course this does not apply when using support material) Note: It can take some time to generate its gcode. At least for me Slic3r had a hard time, I even went to eat my lunch and it was still slicing when I came back.
