I've just started my new quadcopter project about 1-2 months ago. I order parts from various sources on Internet, but not every part I ordered has come yet. You can follow the build log at my blog http://www.cokhosumagidiyo.com It is a brushless outrunner motor mount for 10mm. od carbon fiber rod. As this thing is a work-in-progress, there are some issues. Printing orientation changes the parts strength. If I print motor side down, the rod part becomes very weak. rod-end side down (means rotated x axis 90 degrees, i mean, if rod is inserted through the hole, it would be perpendicular...) motor mount is weak and screws can crack the mount apart... It needs some refining. Feel free to comment and advices to make this part better are welcome! :) SCAD file is included. Designed with scad, make 0.20 mm layer height.
